This is great. Just a simple, little thing. But simple, little things are the best things. For me, it was my backpack. “Professors shouldn’t use backpacks. It’s time for you to use a satchel/man-purse/messenger bag.” But you know what? There’s a reason backpacks exist. They fit more stuff. They distribute the weight efficiently. I don’t have to think through what has to go in my little bag — I can bring it all.
