On board with learning from books not blog posts.

Curious about the “tested” books though. Does that mean only books that’ve been around for years? I’d hope not because it limits your learning journey. What if a classic can’t scratch an itch? Seems like an arbitrary distinction to me but I don’t know the science or thinking behind it.

But I think your company is pretty badass for implementing this regardless. I think the trend is this being more commonplace.

I do something similar with my students — at first some get nervous but usually by end of semester most everyone’s on board.
